Welcome to the Jumpstart Kids 2019

Jumpstart Kids is a week-long summer program for kidtrepreneurs ages 8 to 12. Classes are hosted by Jumpstart Media. It is a collaborative effort, featuring guest speakers, various corporates, startups and investors, developing curious minds and teaching them about entrepreneurship and innovation.

This year’s program kicks off at The Mills Fabrica on July 22, where our kidtrepreneurs will get a tour of the experiential lab, learn 3D design, and all the latest tech in the fabric space. They will also get to learn how to operate an authentic handloom. This will be followed by a session where they learn how to design watches and then design their own watches (worth 1500 hkd) that they get to take home. Finally, Origami Labs will walk them through Design Thinking.

The 23rd to the 26th will take place at The Desk in United Center (Admiralty). Our kidtrepreneurs will learn about social enterprises with Clean The World, go on excursions with Sam Experiences, learn about STEM, and many more activities. All workshops will promote critical thinking, leadership skills, and teamwork, all important in their academic careers.

These scholarships will be awarded to students who are in under-represented communities. We have 20 scholarships remaining at HK$3,995 (per scholarship).

By the end of the program, we will help the kids to self-publish a book about their startup journey. You will be recognized as a scholarship sponsor in the book.
